Another Su-27 will be repaired for the Air Force

 Another Su-27UB training and combat fighter will be repaired for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The other day, the Za-Zaporizhzhya aircraft repair company MiGRemont was seen transporting a Su-27 with board number 69.

This aircraft was manufactured in 1990 and is in service with the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The aircraft is a double in the training and combat version, or as they are called "spark".

Earlier this year, the Zaporizhzhya state aircraft repair company MiGremont has already handed over one repaired Spark to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The aircraft's engines were replaced, a number of repairs were carried out, which allowed to extend the service life of the training and combat Su-27UB for at least 12 years.

Last year, the company repaired a number of Su-25s and Su-27s for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and we reported on the transfer of one of these aircraft.

Su-27 fighters, transferred in 2019, in terms of repairs and improvements are slightly different from other conventional aircraft.

Prior to the transfer to the unit, engineers and pilots of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted procedures to inspect Su-27 aircraft and performed reconnaissance flights at the airport of the Zaporizhia Aircraft Repair Company.

According to aeronautical engineers, after the repair of Su-27 fighters will allow them to be in the combat force of the Armed Forces for at least ten years.
