How to test the first Ukrainian ion-plasma engine

 

 Work on the domestic ion-plasma space engine is underway in Kharkiv. with reference to Ukrinform.

For more than 2 years in Kharkiv, specialists of the Fed company, together with scientists from the Aerospace University, have been working on the manufacture of an engine for spacecraft. Earlier, the president of the Ukraviaprom association and the director of the Fed plant, Viktor Popov, stated that the first Ukrainian ion-plasma engine had been manufactured at the enterprise.

In addition, the company's specialists have created a unique cooling system for satellites. The company has been working for five years to create a new satellite cooling system, including for interplanetary flights commissioned by the International Space Agency.
