PrivatBank launched a digital branch / coworking space in Kiev without cashiers

On January 27, 2021, PrivatBank launched a concept store in Kiev - a test branch of a new format. It will work both as a regular bank branch and as a mini-coworking space for clients who come here for services. The branch was opened at st. Khreshchatyk, 16, in the building of the House of Trade Unions. This is a joint project with the Ukrainian office of Mastercard.

To enter the branch, you need to be wearing a mask (but if the user has forgotten it, you can take the mask from the bank itself). The temperature is also measured at the inlet.

The premises occupy about 400 sq.m. on two floors, therefore, due to quarantine measures in the orange zone, it can accommodate up to 20 people per floor (including bank employees, at the time of launch there were about 10 people).

The department has an electronic queue. A camera is installed above the door, which identifies the client by FacePay upon entering (theoretically, this technology should work even for masked users).

If the user has FacePay installed, after identification he will receive a list of the most popular services in the banking application. He can choose the service for which he came, after which a bank consultant will contact him.
If the user does not have FacePay, he can independently choose the service on the multitouch panel. Or contact a consultant for help.

A few more features that distinguish this separation from the rest:

There are no ticket offices here. Cash transactions can be carried out at ATMs and terminals.
There are separate rooms with terminals for those users who do not want to carry out transactions with money in plain sight. The doors of such rooms are darkened so that you cannot see what is happening inside.
There is a children's room with touch panels with games and other programs for children: you can draw, take photos, etc.
There is a mini coworking space on the second floor. However, as noted in the bank, it is for those customers who have come to receive a service and want to sit down at a table to work in the process. You can't just go in, book or pay for a place in the coworking space.
There is a conference room on the second floor, which is divided into three zones. VIP clients can book it for business meetings.
On the ground floor there is an area with tablets connected to the Internet. It is for those users who want to learn how to work with Privat24.
There is a changing room and a toilet for people with disabilities.
