The largest railway terminal in Europe is being built on the border between Hungary and Ukraine
The construction of the largest and most modern ground terminal for East-West Gate (EWG) trains has begun in the Hungarian city of Feneshlitke near the border with Ukraine.

As noted, the industrial park will be able to simultaneously serve 4 trains with a length of 740 meters. A characteristic feature of the terminal will be the use of environmentally friendly technologies. In particular, solar panels, heat pumps will work, and maintenance will be provided by electric terminal tractors and electric vehicles.
They also plan to install their own 5G network.
It is added that in this way the delivery of goods between Asia and Europe will be faster and much more productive.
It is reported that the total area of the future terminal reaches 125 hectares, and private sources have allocated more than 61 million euros for its construction. There are also plans to create about 140 new jobs.
