The Marine Guard creates a division of boats in Skadovsk

 

Another division of the SBGS Marine Guard boats is being formed in Skadovsk.
with reference to UMP.

As reported, the formation of another division began in 2020.

Also in 2020, the Izmail Marine Detachment and the Berdyansk Division of Boats were deployed.

Last year, more than 40 units of the ship-boat crew made one and a half thousand trips to the sea in the line of duty.

After traveling almost 70,000 nautical miles, they checked the order of navigation and stay in the territorial sea, inland waters, in the adjacent zone and in the EU of Ukraine, more than 12 thousand vessels of foreign and coastal navigation, conducted more than 1000 inspections.

In 2020, we managed to establish and intensify effective cooperation with border aviation: about 170 flights were provided, which is 3 times more than in 2019 statistics.

It also became known that thanks to the support of partners, the construction of bases in Berdyansk and Mariupol has started.

We will remind, large-scale and comprehensive preparation for acceptance of the first ships made within the limits of the Ukrainian-French project proceeds.

In November 2020, it became known that the United States would build military camps in Berdyansk and Mariupol for the Marine Guard units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

The purpose of the project is to support the development of infrastructure and capacity of the Maritime Guard of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine by the US Government.
