Ukroboronprom to develop export potential of Cherkasy Fotoprilad

 

 The management of Ukroboronprom promised to deepen cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and special exporters to the Cherkasy NVK Fotoprilad, which produces optoelectronic devices.

The research and production complex "Fotoprilad" was paid a working visit by the General Director of Ukroboronprom, with reference to UMP.

Yuriy Gusev together with his first deputy Roman Bondar inspected the work of assembly, optical and mechanical production, test station and the central design bureau (CCB) "Falcon".

    “We reviewed the production strategy and got acquainted with the plant's products. Undoubtedly, the company has great potential for further development. Current challenges and problems were discussed with the plant management. In the shortest possible time, we will focus on cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and strengthen coordination with special exporters, "Gusev said.

It should be noted that in 1996 Cherkasy-based Fotoprilad won a tender for the production of sighting systems for 320 T-80UD tanks for the Pakistani Armed Forces and won a contract worth $ 4.5 million. In 2002, NVK Fotoprilad received a $ 3.5 million contract for the supply of optical devices for the repair of sighting systems of these tanks.
