Etalon Corporation is preparing to replace the all-wheel drive GAZ-66 truck. At one of the plants, the company has already established the production of an Indian off-road truck - Ashok Leyland Guru 715.

The release of the Guru truck in Ukraine was announced several years ago. Ukrainian engineers have made improvements to the design of the truck. In particular, due to the installation of reinforced bridges, its passability was increased. It is known that the novelty is planned to be offered to law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

The new truck is superior to the obsolete GAZ-66 in many respects. Thus, the car is equipped with a turbodiesel engine with a capacity of 150 horsepower, which is much more economical than the GAZ-66 and has more traction. The Ashok Leyland Guru 715 truck develops a speed of up to 110 km / h (maximum), a load capacity of 2520 kg and a ground clearance of 315 mm. allows to overcome fords to 80 cm.
