Antonov Airlines will increase the life of propellers for the An-22 aircraft

 

 AB-90 propellers for the NK-12 engine of the An-22 "Antey" aircraft of Antonov Airlines will receive an extended service life.

Thus, on the basis of the agreement dated December 10, 2020, the company Aerogulf FZC (Sharjah, UAE) will perform work to increase the resource performance of the AB-90 propellers for the An-22A transport aircraft in the amount of 8 products. The total cost of the contract is 153 thousand dollars.

As a result of the work performed, the service life and service life of AB-90 screws will be increased by 500 hours. Relevant works, in accordance with the terms of the contract, must be carried out on the basis of the customer.

The term of the contract is specified until March 31, 2021.

Note that the An-22A aircraft registration number UR-09307 "Antonov Airlines" is actively operated during the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the aircraft performed a number of flights to provide private and public customers with protection against pandemics and other foodstuffs.

For example, in May last year, Antey brought a consignment of medical cargo from China to Ukraine at the request of Naftogaz. The plane delivered 65,600 protective suits, 200 patient monitors, 50 ultrasound devices and 12 mobile digital X-ray machines.
