The shipbuilding company SMG repaired 55 vessels last year

 

 At the SMG shipyards, which include the Kherson and Nikolaev shipyards during 2020, 55 vessels were modernized and repaired. Also during this period, 2 hulls of chemical tankers were built. with reference to the CTS.

During 2020, SMG built and delivered to the Dutch Veka Group 2 saturated hulls of chemical tankers: Synergy and Monteverdi. Also, 3 deep modernization projects were implemented at SMG building berths. The most significant of these were the Gelius 1 and Dremora 2 dry cargo modernization projects. Both vessels were extended, double-hulled and gained a deadweight increase of 45% and 38%, respectively.

In addition to shipbuilding, in 2020 contracts worth over UAH 30 million were implemented at the company's metalworking facilities. The key project was the manufacture of metal structures for the construction of a bridge across the Dnieper in Zaporozhye. Under this contract, the company's specialists manufactured and shipped 2,500 tons of metal structures.

A total of UAH 50.7 million was paid to the budgets of all levels last year. The consolidated revenue of the company's divisions from the sale of marketable products in 2020 amounted to about UAH 375 million, which is 22% less than in 2019.
