A 500-ton metal structure is being mounted on the bridge over the Sula River

 In the Poltava region on the highway H-08 Boryspil - Mariupol began work on the installation of a metal girder structure on the bridge over the river Sula near the village. Lypove, Globinsky district.

It is specified that the metal structure of the farm is made in Kiev. Its weight is 516 tons.

Previously, a control installation of the structure was carried out at the manufacturer to identify defects. After the positive conclusion of the experts, the delivery of elements of the new farm to the site began.

All work is performed from water with the help of special watercraft. To begin work directly on the metal girder structures, an assembly berth was arranged. About 1000 tons of metal elements (pipes, beams, crossbars) were used for this purpose.

It is noted that the bridge across the Sulu was built under the regulatory load that existed almost 60 years ago. Therefore, without repairs, the facility did not meet modern requirements and posed a danger to road users.

We will remind that on December 30 the traffic on the new automobile bridge in the Dnipropetrovsk region in the village was opened. Oleksiyivka, Nikopol district. The 159-meter-long building was built instead of the old bridge across Chortomlyk. The object is located on the road H-23 Kropyvnytskyi - Kryvyi Rih - Zaporizhia.
