 Ukrzaliznytsia intends to launch passenger services between Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv and Odessa on trains that develop speeds of up to 300-350 km / h.

According to the company's chairman Volodymyr Zhmak, there is currently a large ambitious high-speed project Kyiv-Lviv, Kyiv-Kharkiv and Kyiv-Odessa, which is being discussed and there are already interested participants. At the moment, Ukrzaliznytsia is looking for an investor who will be interested in the concession approach.

It will be recalled that at the moment the maximum speed of UZ Intercity trains is approximately 140-160 km / h.
