The Ukrainian company has fulfilled a contract for the production of 15 trams for Egypt

 

 In December 2020, all ordered trams, in the amount of 15 units, of the Ukrainian manufacturer Tatra-Yug, were delivered to the Egyptian city of Alexandria.
with reference to the CTS.

It is reported that the contract for the supply of trams under the contract has thus been successfully completed.

Trams for the city of Alexandria were developed according to individual requirements of the buyer to be adapted to features of the available infrastructure of the city and climatic conditions.

It will be recalled that in early 2017, Tatra-Yug won a tender for the supply of 15 articulated trams to Alexandria. The first tram made in the Dnieper was sent to Egypt in early 2019.

As of February last year, in the Egyptian city of Alexandria, eight trams manufactured by the Odessa-Dnieper company Tatra-Yug were already carrying passengers on the routes.
