Five cities of Ukraine bought trams in 2020

 

 In 2020, five Ukrainian cities purchased 49 trams.

    “The number of purchased trams in 2020 was 49, of which 40 were in use. Only 5 cities bought trams, and the most active was the Dnieper - there bought 35 old trams from Leipzig, "- said in a statement.

It is noted that the new trams were presented mainly in part by low-floor cars built on the basis of new bodies and repaired running gear.

It is also reported that 2 more cars - cars 71-414K of the Polish manufacturer Pesa, arrived in Kiev. In addition, 6 Tatra KT4DM cars arrived in Zaporizhia, which have not yet been purchased by the city and are in private ownership.

In addition, Etalon Corporation introduced the first TR 3100 tram of its own production on the basis of the overhauled Czech Tatra T3 tram - with the replacement of the body with a new one and on the basis of Tatra wheeled carts. In 2021, the company plans to launch its tram.
